Over time, Bookistaan grew into a personalised children’s book subscription service, carrying the same heart of a cozy neighborhood bookstore – one that listens, understands, and curates with care.

Our Story
Books have always been my comfort place. Studying literature and publishing only deepened that love, but it was children’s books that brought me back to the joy of reading – curiosity, imagination, and quiet hope.
When I returned to my small town, I noticed how difficult it still was to find and choose good children’s books. As a teacher, I found myself constantly recommending stories, which slowly grew into conversations, then a small blog called Bookistaan – a place to talk about books freely.
That space eventually became the bookstore and subscription service it is today. Bookistaan is built on everything I believe stories can do – comfort children, spark connection, and bring families closer. Thank you for trusting us with your child’s reading journey.
